Orcas, Humpback- and Finnwales watching intensiv

 Once you arrive at the airport in Tromsø, we’ll pick you up and drive you to our beautiful Oksfjordhjem. The route takes us across two ferries and along stunning fjords.

When we arrive in Oksfjord, a delicious regional dinner will be waiting for us.

During dinner, we’ll go over the week’s itinerary and discuss the diversity of Norway’s wildlife. Of course, the focus will be especially on orcas, humpback whales, and fin whales.

The next morning, after breakfast, we’ll get in the car and head to the departure harbor, where we’ll set out on a whale-watching safari aboard one of the Zodiac boats.

Once there, we’ll be outfitted with the appropriate thermal gear.

The trip lasts about 3 hours.

After the tour, we’ll head back to Oksfjord, where coffee and cake will be waiting for us. In the evening, we’ll enjoy delicious wild-caught fish.

The following day, we’ll head out again to watch the whales, share our experiences, and enjoy regional cuisine in the evening.

On the fourth day, after our whale-watching tour, the obligatory coffee, and delicious cake, we’ll take a trip to photograph the best Northern Lights or simply enjoy the moment.

The fifth day is for relaxing, and anyone who wants to can go for a hike or, depending on snow conditions, book a local dog-sled tour.

On the sixth day, we’ll keep an eye out for whales again and try once more to spot the Northern Lights in the evening.

On the seventh day, after breakfast, we’ll head out one last time to say goodbye to the orcas, fin whales, humpback whales, and sperm whales.

The next morning, we’ll take the bus back to Tromsø early, where you can grab a bite to eat and a drink in this gorgeous port city or head straight to the airport.
