Our Husky Farm
Our small husky farm in Norway – this has fulfilled a big dream for us, if not *the* dream. With around 40 dogs, we are probably one of the smallest husky farms in Norway. We will take you on an experience you'll never forget. Promised!

About Us
We met in Kiruna and fell in love during a multi-week, wet, rainy hike in Sweden. We probably thought that anyone who could still stand each other during two weeks of continuous rain, and mostly stay in a good mood, was the right one for the other. In autumn 2023, we decided to do something of our own. Our daughter Maja was already on her way, so we started looking for the right place for our growing family. We found the perfect spot here in Nordreisa, Norway. The village of Oksfjord, located near Reisa National Park, is where we moved in summer 2024.
A place to stay. Here, we can freely design our summer and autumn training between 6 and 40 km, and the winter trails are also right on our doorstep.
Noemi, Rebecca’s twin sister, is also part of our family. Noemi is responsible for the shorter tours and covers for us when we’re not on a week-long tour. She lovingly cares for our dogs, brushes them, and helps us with autumn training.

Noemi

I have loved animals since I was a little kid—being with them and taking care of them. My first Siberian Husky is over 13 years old. Everything that has led me here today—that I am now in Northern Norway and helping out on my sister’s husky farm—started with him.
Regional Food
On our tours, we offer you regional food. Some of the tea comes from self-grown or collected herbs. A highlight is the freshly prepared fish we catch ourselves.
After a cold day out with the dogs, you can look forward to good food.
Whether gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, meat-eater, or with specific allergies – we cater to your needs and put together the right food so that everyone can enjoy their culinary experience.
The moose meat comes directly from our valley and is another special feature that we handle responsibly. We do not offer meat from factory farming – only wild game caught by ourselves or shot by neighbors and friends, or meat of regional origin.
Preparation for Winter
Preparation for winter is just as important as the tours themselves. It begins in summer with fishing and gathering wood for the stove, and continues in autumn with dog training.
In autumn, we start with a 5 km training route and train our dogs with a training cart or in front of an ATV. Before the snow arrives, the training extends up to 35 km and includes several hundred meters of elevation gain.
Our Approach to Our Dogs
Animal welfare / Animal care is extremely important to us, and for us, that means we don't keep our dogs chained with a doghouse, but rather in enclosures in small or larger groups.
But it also means that we train our dogs and keep them active even when it's not crucial for our winter season, but rather when temperatures allow for training. And it's not just about the actual training, but more about our dogs getting out, seeing something different, and being able to move. Every few years, we also breed for our own needs.
Our first dogs are still alive and visibly enjoying their retirement. Laser is our oldest dog at 14 years old; he barks, plays, and joyfully educates the growing young dogs.
Hikes and walks are also not lacking for our older companions.
When you come to us, you will feel that we live with our dogs with passion and do what we love.
Because if you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life.

Huskies
Our more than 40 (sled) dogs
Here you can get to know us a little better and, above all, learn more about our dogs.

Balerion
He can look at you so sweetly that he immediately wins your heart... He’s the biggest of the devils’ litter (their name is no coincidence—they’re hyperactive), but behind his enormous stature is the soul of a lamb.
Bella
A shy and incredible powerful, large female. Her snow-white coat blends into the snowy landscape.
Björn
Together with his siblings, he is a prime example of a sled dog: he pulls steadily with brutal but very well-distributed energy for up to 100 kilometers.
Black Ragnar
There is no dog more playful than him! He constantly wants to be petted, crawls between your legs and plays, just like an eternal puppy.
Bobbie
He likes to show off his strength to other dogs and is not afraid of anyone, not even dogs much larger than himself. He is very friendly and loves people who are affectionate.
Bolle
The most innocent boy from the devil's litter, who has never been in a fight, a real good pack dog who gets along with everyone. Although he is half Greenlandic and half husky, he looks like a pure Greenlandic based on his appearance.
Domino
What a cute girl. She’s playful like her son and siblings. Despite her small size, she’s very strong.
Elfi
Our loudspeaker, who makes it very clear when she’s bored or doesn’t want to wait any longer for food or a run. You can hear her from far away—her voice is unmistakable.
Even
Even is with us because he is shy and difficult for others to handle; we adopted him when he was 3 years old. He has gotten used to us, and we have gotten to know him. We know how to handle him in different situations, and now he is a member of our pack, raised by the Greenlanders to be part of the pack. Running 100 km is no big deal for him. He is tireless. A real Alaskan Husky.
Freya
The mother of our two litters, who raises even her adult offspring with a firm but fair hand. She is a great sled dog, giving her all when running and having an amazing appetite. She can devour a bone in a minute, which is incredible.
Fridtjof
A huge, purebred Greenland dog whose fearsome appearance hides a gentle, affectionate puppy. It’s no coincidence he was named after an explorer. With his enormous size, he breaks trail like a bulldozer for the dogs behind him in deep snow.
Hercules
My goodness, how high he can jump! Three meters is nothing for him. He is an extremely strong, young dog with a promising future as a great sled dog.
Ivar
The most assertive of the Viking brothers, in contrast to his somewhat shy siblings. The three brothers live together in true harmony.
Jaws
He is his brother’s shadow. He follows Oddjob everywhere; without him, life isn’t worth living. They adore each other and play together all the time.
Kira
Rebecca's first Siberian husky. A true angel who wouldn't hurt a fly. Thoughtful and patient. She enchants with her dazzling blue eyes. She has traveled half the world and explored... She has stood on 5,000-meter peaks in Asia and countless other mountain peaks in countless countries.
Laava
Her mother is very close to me, and I showed her that she doesn’t need to be afraid of the world. She has become an excellent sled dog. Laava has been with us since she was born and was raised close to us; Kira was her foster mother. She moved away from Lapland at six months old, but returned two years later and is now back on the snowy trails with her pack mates. Her level of motivation is amazing.
Marwin
The best teacher dog ever! Everyone respects him. He is huge, a real Greenland dog. He doesn't pick fights, but when necessary, he will speak up with fair intentions.
Momo
Momo, a Siberian husky from a show bloodline, adapted perfectly to our move to Lapland. His pedigree name is Green Mountain. At the time, I didn't know he deserved this name, because he stood with me on countless mountain peaks above 5,000 meters (he would have gone even further). He is incredibly cute and furry, like a big bear.
Oddjob
His brother is his role model. They are inseparable, always running together and living life to the fullest.
Odin
He wants to be the leader of the pack and fearlessly strives to be at the top of the hierarchy. He is now raising four puppies with respect and is very happy with them. He can look at you so sweetly that you'll melt.
Oreo
He has a beautiful appearance and is a good sled dog that loves to run but also knows how to rest.
Paula
A very quiet, calm, and thoughtful dog, the opposite of her sister Elfi. You wouldn’t think she’d growl to protect her food, even though she eats very slowly.
Piranha

Pluto
He is very gentle, like a little lamb, and never fights with other dogs. Isn't that what a good pack member should be like?
Potbelly
He came to us at the age of 6 from a friend who competes and he couldn't keep up the racing speed with the others. He fits perfectly into our pack and is also a good lead dog.
Ragnar
He is a little shy and loves to take naps in his house. However, when it's time to go running, he is right there at the door. He is just as balanced and excellent a sled dog as his siblings.
Rufus
Although shyer than his siblings, he is the strongest of the Angel litter and a very good sled dog (Truls taught him...).
Siberia
I can't believe that such a small dog can have so much strength when I walk her on a leash. She was six months old when she had to run ahead of the lead dog on the trail for the first time in her life and changed direction at the crossroads. I couldn't believe it... Of course, she has been running as a lead dog ever since.
Suka
Our little whirlwind. She is always on fire and sometimes screams out of excitement or nervousness, even when there's nothing to scream about. She always gives 120 percent when pulling the sled.
Superman
There is no dog in the world more hyperactive than him! He has so much energy, he's always on the move. It's strange to see him lying down by chance.
Taiga
She's where it all began. Despite being born in 2014, she's still as fit as a fiddle and joins us on short to moderate hikes.
Tor
He came to us when he was 3 years old. There is hardly a more playful dog than him. He loves people and loves to be petted. You can't resist him. And to top it all off, he is also very good at sledding.
Truls
The father of the "Devil" litter. Bella's brother. Innocent as a lamb. Strong as a bull. Calm and shy until it's time to run. Then he switches gears and gives it his all. He joined our pack at the age of 6.
Vaga
Vaga is a refined lady and less of a brawler than her siblings.
Venus
Easy to spot, also one of the young guns, and always right in the thick of it.
Willi
The brave explorer who, as a puppy, always went ahead to show his siblings the world.
Xena
She was given the name of a warrior, and she's earned it—nothing can stop her.
Yuka
Yuka, our number one lead dog! Whether in a snowstorm or surrounded by many other dogs, she listens to us and does what we tell her.
