Detailed Program: 6 + 2 Days

On the first day, we will pick you up at the airport in Tromso or Alta. The fantastic route is perfect for letting your gaze wander and admiring the impressive mountains. Once you arrive at Oksfjordhjem, you will have enough time to settle in. In the evening, you can look forward to a prepared meal over an open fire.

The next morning after breakfast, we will head out with the sled dogs. During the tour, we will take a break, during which we will not only provide the dogs with snacks but also have time to drink tea.

On the third day, we will go on a whale watching safari, where we will search for orca whales. The group is larger during this tour. On the fourth day, we will go on a snowshoe hike and try to reach a spectacular viewpoint. I’m curious to see if we succeed.

Here, too, there will be plenty of food and hot drinks.

After an extensive snowshoe hike, we will take it a little easier the next morning. You can use the morning to relax. In the early afternoon, we will meet to go on a Northern Lights hunt. We will drive to the best places in Norway and warm ourselves by the fire while hopefully admiring the natural spectacle.

On the sixth day, we will visit the world of the Sami and be captivated by their stories. Centuries-old traditions of the indigenous people of Scandinavia will captivate everyone. There will be several participants on this tour. At a subsequent dinner in the appropriate atmosphere, we will enjoy the traditional Sami food.

The seventh day promises an Aurora Spirit Distillery Tour in the northernmost distillery in the world. You can also sample one or two fine spirits. For those groups who would prefer a road trip to the Lyngen Alps, they can choose this as an alternative.

On the eighth day, after breakfast, the Oksfjordtranfer will take you back to the airport.
