Adventure Family Week in Northern Norway

We only take one family per tour, who will be looked after by us during the week. The price applies to up to 2 adults and 2 children; each additional child is + 3000 NOK.

During your stay, meals are included. Breakfast and dinner will be prepared by yourselves to ensure your privacy in the accommodation. We will take care of meals during the tours.

Program Overview

• Day: Arrival and visit to the husky farm
• Day: Mountain Bike Tour
• Day: Canoe Tour
• Day: Treasure hunt with an overnight stay in a tent at the adventure playground
• Day: Hike
• Day: Stand-Up Paddling
• Day: Dog sledding on wheels or fishing (depending on weather and temperature conditions)
• Day: Departure after breakfast

Detailed Program: 6 + 2 Days

On the first day, we will pick you up from the airport and drive along the beautiful route to Oksfjordhjem. Once there, you’ll have time to settle in. Afterwards, we’ll visit our dogs and introduce them to you. Older children are welcome to help feed and care for the huskies.

In the evening, we’ll barbecue together and wind down the day.

On the second morning, we’ll hop on our bikes (mountain bikes) for a 24 km cycling tour. Halfway through, we’ll take a picnic break to refuel. Ambitious cyclists can try their hand at Luovosskaidi Mountain and will be rewarded for their efforts with a fantastic view.

The others will have the opportunity to take a foot bath in the cool river.

On the way back, we’ll cross a small stream anyway, where you’ll willingly get your feet wet.

On the third day, we’ll stay on the water for a canoe tour in Reisa National Park. The beautiful river invites you to slow down your paddling pace, enjoy the scenery, and lose yourself in this dreamlike world. Small shelters invite you to take a break and refuel.

By early evening, we’ll be back at Oksfjordhjem, and the evening can be spent in front of the cozy stove.

On the fourth day, the family embarks on a joint treasure hunt through the Norwegian forest. Following the tracks of trolls, elves, and dwarves, a mysterious treasure must be found. After a successful search, we’ll camp at the adventure playground, bake stick bread over the campfire, and spend the night in tents on site.

The next morning, after a shared breakfast, we’ll go on a hike that can vary between 4 and 20 km, depending on age and fitness.

On the sixth day, we’ll take it easy and spend the day at the beach, trying our hand at stand-up paddling. Around the campfire, we’ll have plenty of time to chat. On the seventh day, we’ll go dog sledding on wheels or fishing at one of the many promising spots.

On the last evening before departure, we’ll prepare a delicious soup to enjoy together under the midnight sun.

On the last day, after breakfast, we’ll take you back to the airport and say goodbye.
