What data we process
- Master data & communication: Name, email, phone number, content of inquiries (e.g. via contact form or email).
- Booking & contract data: Travel dates, number of participants, special requests (e.g. allergies/food), invoice/payment information (bank transfer).
- Usage data: Server logs (IP address, date/time, pages accessed, user agent) for the provision and security of the website.
- Third-party content (only when activated by you): Website translator, YouTube videos, Google Maps. The providers mentioned may process technical data (including IP).
Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)
- Answering inquiries, booking & conducting tours (Art. 6 para. 1 b GDPR)
- Fulfillment of legal obligations (e.g. storage of invoices) (Art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR)
- Operation, security & optimization of the website (server logs, abuse prevention) (Art. 6 para. 1 f GDPR)
- Integration of voluntary third-party content (translator, YouTube, Maps) only with consent (Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR)
Cookies & third-party providers
Essential cookies are required for operation. We only load optional services (website translator, YouTube, Google Maps) after your consent. The providers may process data in the EU/EEA or – in the event of a transfer to a third country – on the basis of suitable guarantees (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses). You can revoke your consent at any time in the data protection settings.
Storage & deletion
- Inquiries: usually up to 12 months after the end of communication.
- Contract/invoice data: in accordance with statutory retention obligations (at least 5 years).
- Server logs: briefly for security and error analysis.
Disclosure to third parties
We use service providers (e.g. hosting) as part of order processing. A transfer only takes place if this is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes, a legal basis exists and – in the case of processing outside the EU/EEA – suitable guarantees are provided.
Mandatory information & minors
The information required for booking and execution is marked as mandatory fields. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; inquiries/bookings are made by them.
