I\u2019ve always loved being out in nature and going on hikes with ideas that might seem crazy to others. But after getting my first Siberian husky in 2013, I spent even more time outdoors, walking and hiking all over Europe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My walks were followed by hikes in smaller mountains up to 2,000 meters, then 3,000, then 4,000, then 5,000, and beyond\u2026 From easy walks to more technical climbs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, I joined the local mountaineering club in 2018 and the sled dog club in 2013; I went to countless places with them and learned a great deal from them. I\u2019ve gone on hikes with my dogs in Europe: Hungary, Serbia, Italy, Slovenia, Norway, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Germany, Sweden, and the Czech Republic; and in Asia: Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, and Turkey. In 2016, I went hiking with my dog above 2,000 meters for the first time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, I moved to Hungary near the Austrian border, from where we went to the Alps with the dogs almost every weekend. The short hikes of just a few kilometers were gradually replaced by longer ones covering several hundred kilometers like the K\u00e9kt\u00fara in Hungary, or the Kungsleden is Sweden. In 2021, I moved to Lapland, where the hikes continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other notable peaks and hikes without a dog: Among others, Mont Blanc (4,806 m, French-Italian border) in 2019, completion of the Eagle Trail (Slovak Tatras) in 2020, a 210-km bike ride around Lake Balaton, Spartan Trifecta Finisher in 2018, podium finish in an open-water swimming marathon, etc. Additionally, I have gone on hikes in Russia, France, Montenegro, Greece, and Bulgaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
